The Columbia Gorge International Festival this past weekend was a busy and rewarding festival for Paper Turtle. On the banks of the Columbia River, in Vancourver, Washington, Paper Turtle was shown to a full crowd in the main screening room and received a big ovation. On Saturday August 21st, the short film was awarded Best Narrative Short (10-20 minutes) of the festival, and was screened again with the other winning films on Sunday.
Also, Paper Turtle received a rave review from the Vancouver Voice, the newspaper covering the festival.
